I sent the jacket to Alan at Johnson Leathers for some modifications a few weeks ago and it should be shipping tomorrow. Heres what I had done to it.
Remove knitting at waist and shorten zipper
Remove knit cuffs and replace with button cuffs and shorten/taper sleeves for cuffs

My Aero Steerhide jacket is going on three years old, I've actually started preferring the steer hide over my other FQHH Aero's. The steer hide has a beautiful grain and once broken in is incredible, it's heavier and does take longer to break it though.
Totally agree with Belfastboy, go USPS. On the guitars I've shipped the duties and customs charges are always less to nothing compared to UPS or FED EX. The info I found came down to the shipping company use 3rd party companies to handles the duties and customs and can charge absorbanant fees...

Received the jacket today, It's actually better than the pictures except the size. It was listed as having a 21" pit to pit, I haven't measured it but it's got to be closer to 23.
The leather is unbelievable, I was mistaken earlier it's actually steer and about 2.5oz. Compared to my Steer...
