different types of fedoras (please help)

Or a girl wearing the same hat and in the same level of undress. Not that I'd post it here, but you know, you could send it in a PM or something.

different types of fedoras (please help)

Yeah, I could have done without the shirtless guy, but I definitely could do without seeing his short and curlies. *yucky*

different types of fedoras (please help)

Umm....I wouldn't call that a "classic" fedora, more of a typical trilby (a type of fedora). The second one looks like a pork pie. The last three look like the same hat, and it looks like a variation on the canvas bucket hat. Welcome to the Lounge! Stick around, ask questions, and I...

    Post New Hats Here!

Looks like it says "100% Imported Fur" to me. I think you got a great deal!

    Hat Shrinkage.

Similar to what johnnycanuck said, somebody once suggested steaming around the hatband and then jamming the hat down on your head farther than it normally goes until it's touching your ears, and then leaving it on your head for a while. That has worked very well for me, much better than jamming...

I'd buy that as being '50's. I saw that when perusing eBay for hats and stopped to admire it. Very nice!

    Stetson Saxon Fedora

Seriously, think about hanging onto it. The trend in popular culture (by that I mean young people) right now is toward ultra stingy brims, but almost everybody looks better with a brim of two inches or more. Many do look great with the stingy brims, and you may be one of those, but most are...

It looks odd in a good way.

I saw that one too. That's a beauty.

Major Moored Carbon Grey Fed IV size 63

Good luck. I'm surprised no one bought it, especially when you dropped the price to $80. I was seriously considering it, even though it's a size too large.

    straw fedoras

Oh yeah, that Sunbody of yours looks great, skyvue.

Interesting crease in the second one. It reminds me of the space slug that almost ate the Millennium Falcon in The Empire Strikes Back.

What is your favorite hat crease?

You see, what I want is an uncreased center crease with an unpinched front pinch.

What is your favorite hat crease?

This is what I was referring to, something like this as opposed to something like this (one of mine) At least that's all I can think of.
  16. Mr E Train

What is your favorite hat crease?

Maybe he means a diamond bash without a tight pinch at each corner of the diamond, so the crown appears round when viewed from all sides. [huh]

What is your favorite hat crease?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

What is your favorite hat crease?

Was it Kierkegaard or Dick Van Patten who said, "If you label me, you negate me"?

Ebay Hats: Victories, Defeats, Gripes & Items of Interest

I said I wouldn't post any live auctions even though it's allowed now, but I'm going to make an exception in this case because it looks fishy, probably due to lack of knowledge on the seller's part rather than intent to deceive. "Vintage" my @$$ What do you think, 90's or later? I'm thinking...
