And here’s an old standard from that period. A Royal Stetson, that arrived badly crushed in a extra small box, and of course too small in size. 2” brim, nice curl and snap, near mint.
Responded well to applied disciplines.
Price was about 3 bucks as I recall.
But the combo of acts was nuts on a single nite. Not specifically this, but like Zeppelin and the Incredible String Band.
This rack I made from scraps of mahogany from my shop. The curvature supports the hat well without pressure at a single point. It is simply attached to the top of the door trim with 2 screws, which alleviates putting holes in a plaster wall.
Oh yeah, I lived near the Fillmore West '68 to '71...
Seldom worn modern Premier Stratoliner from '14. This is one thick kitty, perfect for the frozen north, but not at all stiff. So nice to have an open crown and 6" of height. I'm still fighting the pressed crease on my several modern Royals, plus the Royals are an inch shorter.
