    I'm going to the Char Grill. It's a burger place that still cooks with charcoal after almost 50 years. You order from an outside window and eat in the car. Excellent food!

    Birthdays and how to celeberate them

    Yesterday was my birthday, and I spent it as low key as possible. My wife gave me a few brownies, and my daughter phoned me from college with a happy birthdaygram. It was a nice birthday:)

    I special ordered my first pair of AE's at one of their outlet stores here in NC yesterday...."Wilbert" size 14-A. I hope I like them. It's a casual shoe.

    The Return of the Milkman!

    I still have empty milk bottles left over from the early 50's. I keep garden gloves and small yard tools in the milk box by the back door. Our milkman's name was Aaron. I could talk him into leaving chocolate milk if my mama wasn't home:)

    What do you use to shave?

    I use Headslick shaving cream with a good badger brush on face and head. I shave with a Gillette Power Fusion followed by a splash of witch hazel. I also like Afta original for an after shave conditioner. It smells good too:D

    Right now? Polo Khakis and Polo blue oxford cloth shirt with the sleeves rolled up. A pair of Sebago casuals with no socks and a brown Miller "Baldwin" hat with 2 1/8" brim.
