Thanks BT!
It's a shame we can't see the picture in that thread, I would have loved to see the results of the re-shape. I know my Resistol is pretty stiff and would need the stiffener removed to make it somewhat workable. My Stetson on the other hand was pretty pliable and I was trying...
Thanks Gentleman Farmer. My other hat is a Resistol as well. That one I was thinking of either a 1930's style fedora with a 3" brim & tall crown or going with the 4 dent campaign (or Montana crease) style. Hard to say. Either way it beats sitting in a box in the closet. But the Stetson I will...
Hello all,
Ive just sent my Stetson 4X beaver to Art for a reblocking and a cleaning. This hat I had bought about 16 years ago durring my rodeo days. It has seen numerous rodeos & road trips, has been up to Canada and down to Florida. It has met Chris LeDoux (rodeo star and singer), Mel...
Sorry to say the Fox is long gone, as well as the Madona Theatre down at the Madona Plaza. The Fremons is the only classic left in San Luis Obispo. But I'm happy to say that the Palm Theatre in the old China Town section of town is still going strong.
Cheers!

I use a pocket Moleskine just about everywhere I go. I have one that looks like the old detectives notebook that flips up and the other is just a standard notebook type. Both fit wonerfully in the cargo pocket of my Wested.

I just managed to find a Mambo Loud Shirt on EBay a little while back. Loud & Tropical. They don't even make them any more. They're sort of the Aloha shirt of Australia. Some real cool crazy graphics.
Cheers!

The Fremont in San Luis Obispo
Here's one that has been a wonderful one to grow up with. The Fremont Theatre in downtown San Luis Obispo. I love the architecture of this place.

They're a fine looking saddle shoe, but I think I'm still opting for the Muffy's Saddle shoes in the brown & white. I had just bought a pair in a light tan & suede at Nordstroms. Very comfortable indeed.
The suede part is actually lighter than pictured and pairs quite well with my linen...
Now, you whish to converse about heat? The summer weather in the Paso Robles, CA area is the roasting kind. Right now we're experiencing a bit of a cool down, but the tripple digits will be back with a vengence in the next month. Its the best time to take advantage of linen and Pismo Beach...

Each monitor will display the colors differently, just the nature of the beast. Maybe Jersey can give us a little description of the color shades and what we can compair them to.
