Akubra vs Borsalino Quality
I have not owned Akubra but the two modern Borsalino hats I own are made of very, very light felt that is not stiff. About as light and un-stiff as any production hat you're likely to find. The brown hat
I don't have a black overcoat but I frequently wear my chocolate brown Tumwater hat with light grey slacks and a jet-black long sleeved dress shirt. Looks very sharp, I think. The hat color warms up the rather monochrome outfit nicely and also makes the black look blacker, if that makes any sense.- Brent Hutto
