    It would be easier and less expensive to buy a new one. I will not advertise but just mention a well known men’s clothing store in Buffalo,NY USA has made in England Burberry trench coats and even an Aquascutum. Having a bespoke one made by the tailor of your choice is another way to go.

    With out handling it I believe it’s hand painted glazed ceramic ware. If it has a country of origin on the back of the plate that might be helpful. Most do not. I’ve seen somewhat similar in Spain,Portugal,The Baltics,and Central and So. America. An e-bay search of it using the above terminology...

    The Bletchley Circle rerun of a well done BBC mystery & suspense series which ran for three seasons. Mid 1950’s London . WWII female code breakers reunite to solve a serial murder which out witted Scotland yard.
