Stetson Number 1 Quality "The Fray" that's on eBay now. It's being claimed to be a military hat from about the 1880's. I have no idea if true, but the sweatband and Stetson logos look just like Stetsons from the early 20th Century.
Stetson Number 1 Quality. I'm guessing it's a late 1930's hat. The sweatband looks like a hot mess, but I think the hat has potential, once I get it reshaped to suit me.
I'm always glad to see The Hatted Professor make an appearance on The Lounge and getting a Thumbs-Up from him makes me feel like, at least occasionally, I'm on the right track, in spite of what my critics may think.

Additional pics of my Disney boater, now that it has arrived. Hat was priced at $6.50. The ribbon needs replacing and someone sewed over the existing ribbon.
Marathon Extra Quality. Has 2 3/4 inch brim and 5 1/4 inch open crown. The hat has been stretched some, so the brim might have been 2 7/8 originally. Priced at $3.98, that has to be back in time a bit.
I'm not here to please you. If you don't like my posts, just consider that they are not directed to you or for you and go about your life. I might not have this attitude if you ever did anything constructive, but all I see from you is gripping and complaining and criticizing what others do.
All of this Disney talk today made me start Jonesing for one, so I bought an old straw boater Disney a little while ago. I only see one other hat on this Disney thread with the exact same colors in the Disney liner logo. It's on page 6 of thread. Brad Bowers said that hat was from the Crofut &...
