Yes, that´s a style I like a lot recently.

Visually, I think there is a world of a difference between tapered and non-tapered. The later give a clean 1950´s vibe.

I like my pants with a bit of a taper, so the issue is that most of the offerings have a pretty high rise. I solve that "problem" with wearing all my jeans at the hip, so they get this baggy look.
These are orSlow "Dad"-jeans, which are said to nod to the 1990´s.... I have the "Granddad" version on order which is marketed as a 1930´s cut.

Another recent fave is the Iron Heart 684 which is essentially a roomier version of the 555.

Do you have a picture of those 684s?

A very thick, hefty Indian Motorcycle horsehide jacket made by Sugar Cane.
I love it. It'll probably be my last cross-zip.

Just found another vintage suede jacket in a style similar to the Cody Rancher/Tregos...this one is by Hodkins Glove Company. It was listed as a welder's jacket, and I almost believe it...the suede is really thick on this one. No lining, and a fit...well like a glove!

Official last day of "winter" here in Australia. Leather jacket required on a coastal coffee stop.
Australian made copy in black goat, of a 1990 Eastman Luftwaffe I gave them to replicate. Even this is "old" now and rarely gets an outing.

finally it got cold enough and wore it for a couple hours and it became noticeably softer and started breaking in
