Your Maverick is seasoning up nicely! As much as I like my Aero Type-III in Navy Vicenza w/caramel stitching & copper buttons, this has a similar appeal although for different reasons. You've got a keeper.

It's 64 degrees, a biting cold day here in San Diego... I'm wearing my latest creation, a "vintage" land speed jacket with all leather patches created for my booth this weekend at the Motor Transport Museum event in Campo, CA.
I believe Unrefined Vision had/obtained the hides and provided them to Vanson and they used those hides to create his one-off Maverick.
It certainly is a standout piece.

@soundwavvves belt is from Celine. I'd never spend the same money again now that I understand authentic western style can be found for much less! Awesome looking post of the p656h by the way. Comfortable to wear already and it's showing more and more character.
Cheers @Mickiemac. Your Aero type III sounds like a winner. More like an indigo denim jacket but with that leather character! Right you are about my getting the hides for this custom maverick.
@cl206 this is Maryam wash horsehide I got from Rocky Mountain Leather Supply and brought to Vanson myself. Can order it and have it shipped directly to Vanson once you figure out how much hide you'll need. If you do go that route make sure to ask about color matching the hides and getting the particular thickness you're looking for. The website says the hides are about 3 oz but I came to find out they can vary to between 4-5 oz. Vanson made it work, but if you take a closer look you'll notice the collar could serve as a chew toy for a rottweiler HA!

I have worn this for motorcycle rides in the past, but front straight zips are just easier on biking days.
This has become an "in the car today" regular. And yes it DOES fasten haha..
Quite a cool internal label.
One inside pocket, functional button chest pockets. Phone sized.Works well.

I LOVE a tan suede/roughout/nubuck jacket! as you said mate, super versatile and always looks sharp
I'm still searching for the perfect one myself(that Duke sure looks tempting, sadly I rarely see it here in the EU) so for the moment I rock this tan faux suede one I found for cheap(don't really like faux leather, but the cut on this jacket was great so I'll use it until I get a real suede one I love).

After being stuck in customs for what feels forever my Cherubim finally got delivered
First impressions are just wow, what a beautiful piece of leather that fits sooo comfy.
I told Mark it was "Thedi comfy" which are a really high praise as until today no jacket I've owned wore as comfy as my Thedis Mark really hit a home run on this pattern!
