I recently got this NOS Swedish army jacket made in 1972 and it's just an amazing jacket, super robust construction that feels almost overbuilt, all for around 30usd like new is a crazy good deal Imo.

Cool. I have one just like that, too.
But I sewed on different buttons, lengthened the sleeves, and had it tailored to fit my figure a bit better. I hardly ever wear it, though. I just prefer shorter jackets

I love those rear pockets!

I do like a sneaky rear pocket - whether it's a cargo patch pocket like those or a giant poacher's pocket.

I remember Barbour put some on their 75th Anniversary International jacket.

I wish more jackets had rear pockets...

Yessir! So the inner elbows were basically in direct contact.

Wear a long-sleeve T-shirt under your jacket. The jacket will be more comfortable after that.
When you put on a short sleeve T-shirt afterwards, it will be very comfortable.
