Thanks! These are made in the Philippines, from a company called Marquina Shoemaker, it's called the Ramos boot. Pretty good upper leather (even if not as thick as a CXL), blake-stitched with a leather outsole.

This was my first proper boot and I wore it has sentimental value to me and it's something from home.

I DIY re-dyed it last year to a dark brown and had it resoled recently with a leather midsole, Vibram 430 outsole, and added speedhooks. Very happy with the result and it looks less dressy and more appropriate with my current lifestyle

Thanks! Yes, this is a custom Marling with an action back.

I like it a lot and it's my most complimented jacket and my best fitting one too. Any excuse I can wear it, I do and have worn it even in the rain and snow (with a uniqlo light down underneath) and it holds up well. Will have had it for a year this May and very happy with it

Hi. Congratulations on the jacket. I have just received mine. The same one as yours same colour. Tell me, has yours softened up? I didn’t expect it to be so stiff.

Honestly the jacket felt really comfortable to me from the first wear. The leather has decent weight to it, but I reckon every time you wear it movement will feel easier and easier.

The mighty Y2 N1 deck jacket, Ive been wearing it while walking the dog, we are currently in our what feels like our 6th Spring, so -6 walking the dog in a t shirt and this beast of a jacket, handles it with ease, I'll wear it on the bike as well, just gotta wear it and break it in.
