I guess it depends how one takes measurements.
It's 47 at the top of the epaulets but only 43 below.
Here are some pics with a tape so you have a better idea.

The shoulder part is small but the rest is bigger and longer than my old 618.

So, I spent the better part of yesterday walking around outside in a p613s. My normal wear is around town, to/from work and I almost never zip it. I was surprised to find it becoming uncomfortably restrictive, not allowing normal/proper standing posture with shoulders up and back. I had to keep it only 2/3 zipped otherwise it was too tight across the chest and I'm sized up in this thing. Not the first time I've had a Schott feel too tight across the shoulders/chest, but otherwise well sized.
