I made a slight change to two existing recipes to my taste.
The "Giallo Italiano"

1oz J&B Whiskey (NO SUBSTITUTIONS - THE classic Giallo whiskey!)
1/2oz Lazzaroni Amaretto (NO SUBSTITUTIONS)
1/2oz Drambuie
1/4oz Kahlua/Coffee Liqueur (because Italy, espresso)
dash Angostura bitters
grate small amount of nutmeg

A cocktail new to me this autumn, after a spontaneous stop at the "Eataly" in Chicago. Cutting through the wine section, my wife noticed a sign advertising an apertif they had on offer from the Italian Alps, called "Dola Dira" & made primarily from rhubarb - which she adores & grows in our own garden. This was immediately acquired.

A small recipe tied to the bottle's neck suggested this "Rhubarb Negroni" concoction, which we have since tried & found quite refreshing - here's my brand-specific take on it, as this would be the only version all I can speak to at the moment:

Equal parts-

Tanqueray Gin

Casals sweet vermouth

Dola Dira

Mix over ice & stir vigorously; pour into a chilled glass with a King Cube & serve with a twist of orange peel.
