Is the ****** pocket on the right side because you are left-handed? That pocket configuration will work while riding a motorycle, you can reach into the ****** pocket while keeping a hand on the throttle.

While true, what possible object would you want to reach for while still on the throttle? lol

Posting an update, though honestly I have worn this jacket a lot less than I should. The fit is perfect, but I’m starting to thing that if I’m going to be a one jacket older gent, maybe I need something lighter than CXL. Or maybe it’s just the TFL Effect?

THIS jacket re-ignited my once furious love for brown CXL FQHH.

Last year I was able to pick up a JL Cafe Racer in this exact shade of CXl with the exact same hardware.

True story: I was flicking through the photo app on my phone at the thousands of pics of my kids and my cat and realised you can also search pics on the map with their geolocation. In Europe, there are hundreds from a recent family trip to Paris … and then one lone photo in Germany. Confused, I click on that outlier and it’s a photo I must have saved of you with a black Addicts (Lewis style) jacket!

That is both flattering and worrysome. I never realised the original location would be transmitted when you safe a photo elsewhere. We are all made of glass in this Data-driven-world...

Same! I thought that the geolocation got cut out when uploading to a forum. I’d totally forgotten about that photo, but it was definitely a jacket inspiration for a while. I promise I’m not a stalker, hahah!

On the iPhone you can set whether location or subtitles should also be uploaded ;-)

I listed this jacket in the Classified section and already having a little seller’s remorse. Maybe I just need to wear and break it in some more. It’s super heavy, but it isn’t really that much warmer than a mid-weight and, while I might have moments of self consciousness in a leather armour, I’m sure it doesn’t look like that.

I think most newer platforms strip that material (and downsize images) but our server software does neither. If there was an update that fixed that it would probably help with the bandwidth troubles as well because we have a lot of extremely big image files here.

I’ve owned and sold a lot of jackets but my Johnson jacket feels spot-on when I wear it, unlike anything else. (It helps, I’m sure, that I was there with Alan measuring me up.)

I think a lot of it is their patterns and the mobility that comes from them. This thing is dtiff heavy leather and a very slim fit on me and yet it moves well with me and doesn’t feel restrictive at all.
