I was referring to the Californian Police jacket for the back and front shots.

Yes, that is it. Also has the same underarm gussets which surprised me on mine. Had not seen this before on a Californian. It is not on my later 50s Californian straight zipped police jacket.

What Terry was wearing minus the side laces. I think mine is probably the earliest version in HH.

Many here have seen the Joe McCoy Mobster jacket. I am sure most if not all have made the connection between it and the CHP jacket. And since FW founder used to be in charge of JM, many deduce that the Muholland may have been a modified Mobster (IMO it is a Frankenstein of a few jackets like...

The Sportclad light weight Horsehide is a pleasure to pull out of the closet. I think the fit is just a bit better than the Vintage Californian. I love the collar on this one.
