Went swimming at dawn, did some yoga/meditation sun salitatuons, and introduced my new Thedi to the Hawaiian beach.
77° F water temperature, 66° air temperature.

You went native huh? Good on ya. Thinking about a day in the life of Hawaiian Jonesy brings me peace. One day, I will be on that path.

congrats, its look really cool, usually I dislike band collar that is vertically sticking out like so, but somehow the way FL does it makes it somewhat unique and works, size is perfect and front hem drop is cool too.

Interesting, the sleeve zips are on the outside. Kind of cool looking that way.
The zippers on the outside of the sleeve is standard for Route 66.
I actually don't have a good photo where you can see the detail well. Lol
Even though I like it on the Route 66, I had the zippers on my other jackets all done on the inside of the sleeves. It's more subtle somehow.
The zippers on the sleeves of the R66 please me from the feel extremely well. Only the threading of the main zipper is quite annoying and you have to be very careful.

Edit:
Still found photos of the zipper.
Since you just can not tell if they are outside or inside ;)

Late 50s/60s Hercules (truth be told I can never remember what label it is as I post the pics. Pretty sure it’s a Hercules). Unremarkable, stiff leather but it has very nice slim tailoring.

Wow, what a cool jacket. Absolutely awesome. And look at that hide. It doesn't get much better than this.

Finally in low 30s so I broke out the lost worlds B3. This jacket is extremely ***bersome, maybe because it’s not broken in yet but it is a ***** wearing it in the car also sleeves seem about a half inch to short for my liking bust still get the job done I now know why airmen in the 40s switched other less ***bersome jackets. I like the quality of this lost worlds jacket but for 2100$ I think THEDI and AERO would be better bang for buck. Still love the jacket
