Thanks to @Marc mndt heads up, I am now the happy (despite the expression, lol) owner of this pale (racing?) yellow 1960s/1970s Shields. Marc correctly guessed that this must be a 40, I put in a somewhat lowball offer which was accepted, and the rest is history. A direct opposite of the beast Ton is wearing above, the Shields is a lightweight jacket, and has joined the black Score and the petrol blue Shields in my little collection of Canadian jackets from that era. May need a wash (yellow is not easy to keep clean) but otherwise in great shape.

Another absolute win that arrived, one I've only got Marc to thank for. Harro racer in RED! This ain't me tryna steal @red devil's spotlight here but it isn't easy going back to wearing any other color after red. Missed my red CR ever since I sold it (essentially red Brooks! Never saw something like it since...) and something had to be done about it.

No you've got your own style Monitor and you rock it.
Off topic but when I post from my phone I struggle to not do phone shorthand, like u instead of you etc.

Repost from the 5* thread. 5.5oz leather is no joke. This is my maximum threshold for self abuse. Turned out well though and I could stuff it with candy and get a side gig as a walking human piñata.

The back shot is insane. It's literally a suit of armor lol.

@Will Zach great score. Very cool jacket and solid fit.

Nice outfit. This is probably your best fitting jacket now.

Looks good but y'know, ever since you said you take great care in matching colors, literally the first thing I check on your photos is how well you've matched the boots with the jacket. Which is funny because I never in a million years would've even realized this before you mentioned it.
Haha well feel free to check! I'm always deliberate with my leather matching.
wait the hair is back? :)
No this is just an older photo.

Thanks! I think the Bodie may fit even better, but I haven't shared that yet.

Very interested in the Bodie fit. It may work well for you since typically you wear higher waisted pants. That back length is whats causing so much hesitation on it for myself.

I would keep it as is, no cleaning (unless there are odors). I think those smudges here and there add character.
I thought the same thing right after I posted.

Darn, I, too should study your ensembles. Obviously a lot of thought goes into them. Good matching is an art and is not easy, and here your boots, belt, jacket and hat are playing very nicely together. The trousers as well. Well done!

I will try to get the new thread posted today. I'm very happy with the fit.

Thanks! It's something I certainly care about. The effort is there haha.
