Got home early from the office, got rid of tie and jacket for an update on Greg’s masterpiece.

As a side note, I do have the same issue with “sleeve pitch” as described earlier, so I don’t really wear the jacket closed. Doesn’t bug me much though (for me leather - unlike a suit - is never about “perfect fit”), and if the weather demands it, I can easily zip it up.

@Jin431 Thanks, Man! This jacket helps me to keep in shape...wearing a thick/warm pullover is impossible fortunately it's rather warm outside for mid of December

wonder if that's the aero influence in his design. My Aero Sheene has that tension issue and tbh, most Aeros people post here have that fold issue coming off the neck towards the pits. It's one of those things most people aren't going to notice, but obviously around here...

I have a cafe racer that is slightly bigger than the Sheene and the tension points weren't as pronounced. So I used primarily those measurements in my new FL build. The big difference though is the CR has gussets, my J100 style won't. So I'm also expecting some tension. I did at last minute add an 1/8 and 1/4 inch here and there as I decided I have enough jackets on the edge of being tight and I'd rather error on side of caution on such an expensive build.

Hmm, never noticed that on my Aero’s, at least not as a convenience issue.
I guess some of the “pattern issues” that are discussed here may have something to do with individual proportions of the wearer etc. I notice that some of the jackets I really liked to wear are no longer comfortable. Since weight gain isn’t really available as an explanation, I believe it may be down to my body transforming somewhat (or I’m just getting more picky with age...).

No, I don't think it's the same problem. I looked at my two aero and the sleeves of those go down more vertically. So there are no problems with my posture.
Another thing I noticed: the rounding of the armholes is quite pronounced on my FL jacket. If I measure in the middle of the armhole, then there are significantly fewer cm than other jackets with almost the same P2P and shoulders.That will increase the tension again. I think the pattern is not optimal to use it very tightly.

With my Ridley I have 2" more and with other jackets too. P2P and shoulders are more or less the same for all of them.

Unfortunately the pattern doesn't match my stature/posture. It may be because the pattern matches the posture when riding a motorcycle. The rotation of the sleeves is too far forward for me. When I let my arms hang down, the sleeve pulls back and the part in front of the chest becomes tense. This creates permanent tension on the front of the shoulders. The tension can also be seen visually and is reinforced by the fact that the material above the ****** pockets is not doubled, as is the case with the ****** pockets.
The length is 2 cm too short for my pants style.
I've come to terms with the fact that I usually only wear the jacket open. Closed in the home office in the hope that the part above the ****** pockets will stretch a bit
And with my measurements the jacket is unsoldable lol

The leather is an absolute dream. Not too thick, but still a bit stiff, good grain, great smell, great color. Really amazing.

So, just wear it with a nice white tshirt or so in the in-between-temperature times and I'm sure you can enjoy it.

Yes exactly. it's my t-shirt and open wearing jacket. That's the way to wear it.
What is still interesting is that other jackets with almost identical dimensions are big enough to wear a sweater underneath. No matter
