Sorry if you have expanded on this somewhere else - but what do you mean? I'm curious about your thoughts on these leathers compared to each other but it isn't obvious to which one you prefer and why.
Well, that was sort of an off the cuff (puns!) remark. When typing that i had owned my first fqhh jacket for all of 30 mins so I am by no means qualified to give more than a first impression comparison. Vicenza is soft and as often mentioned requires no break in. When i got my aero vicenza half belt i threw it on and had full range of motion. 20 minutes later i was driving a car and no problem with sleeve stiffness or the collar pushing up to my chin. That fqhh new will take some breaking in is well documented here. I suppose what inspired the statement was the heft of the jacket. Vicenza presents like a heavy denim jacket. The fqhh was SUBSTANTIAL. It reminded my of what black leather jackets were like when i was a kid and first noticed cop and biker jackets.
All told i like my current set up. Brown for vicenza and black for hh

That is a perfect fit!
Thanks man!!!

Bought on sale - they (24helmets in Germany) only had one jacket left and it happened to be in my size... Only issue is with the collar buttoned, it pushes on my throat when riding... we'll see if it gets better with wear, if not I guess I can wear it unbuttoned...

Man it is intimidating, the cuff is where all creases end. The first time i wear this leather version, still 90%, i can bend my elbow probably around 60 degree at first wear but it feels it will break in rather quick. I asked the sleeve to be rotated forward more than usual since i want to ride more in it to get some brown faster. i wear my big turtleneck under it also doesnt help. I can not fold the lapel, lol i think it need to be washed first.
