HD's does look a little lighter. It's not only the lighting and background.

Interesting how much brown is in the Thedi gray. I know light plays a factor. It does seem to have quite a bit of brown in it. When I think of the gray jackets I’ve had they always had much more of a silver bend to them. Personally I like the brown bend better.

Actually, I don't know why it's called gray because it is clearly brown. Maybe with a ghost of gray.

Thanks @Seb Lucas The Shinki used for this jacket is somewhat different to other Shinki HH's I know - thinner and therefore a perfect Spring/Summer jacket. When I purchased it about 2 years ago it the fit was quite tight but fits me perfectly now as I lost weight. Purpose of that purchase was to reach my ideal weight which I've reached now.

Haven’t worn this other vintage Swedish goatskin jacket in a long while either. The zipper started separating after I’ve had it for just a week or two. I’d been fretting about getting it replaced cause the stitch holes are so tight I don’t think it’s possible to do it. Realised today that I could try a quick fix. I used a plier to pinch the slider and make it little tighter. It worked magic! Zipper is fully functioning again.

Last two pics are comparing stitching with an Aero jacket in CXL.
