While the pics are stunning, you have to see this jacket in person to really appreciate it. Next level, god-tier, before I knew it I had reached out and touched it. No lie. Beautiful jacket.

That's a good pattern for your build. Looks good!

Thanks Corky, Definitely an under the radar Aero model.. with a few tweaks ( horizontal top pocket, different collar) this pattern Might fill the needs of the guys who want a highwayman but not the boxy fit.. this has a good shoulder to waist taper.

I still see the pics of the jacket hanging on your porch in your add, and to this day i regret not buying it as soon as it hit the classifieds!

It’s actually brown corduroy! The stitching is OD.

Yeah, i meant olive stitching not lining.
It looks great broken in and i would have quickly forgotten about the OD stitching.

It was a real challenge for me to wear - it was a serious 10+ lbs of leather & cordoroy (the lining adds to the weight being cordoroy.) As many know who wear "traditional" White's boots, they can easily get to 8+ lbs as well, this adds a lot of mass onto your frame. While I enjoyed the jacket, I just found myself not wearing it as much as I like. Then it got damaged in my move, which Tony did a good job of resolving. It's heavy CX Steer, but not Lost Worlds 4+ Oz horsehide...

Randy i always thought this was a cool *** jacket. Did the corduroy make it super hot? I have corduroy at the bottom hem of a jacket and its comfortable, supposed to protect against the belt ,wallet rubbing holes. I see this feature on a lot of vintage jackets. Cordovan is an awesome option i had one an let it go and now miss it. I definitely want another. I love this conf. But also am intrigued by the bootlegger with some mods. I think tony should have kept the bootlegger v2.0 imho, thats bad ***. Hard to follow.

... and today ... UGNYC x Vanson Robinson waxed cotton jacket with d3o armor pads inside. This is basically an upgunned, more feature-laden, armored version of Vanson’s super popular Stormer wax cotton jacket.

Thanks! Yes, it’s the standard black steerhide they use for the 59’er highwayman. I really should post some detail pics some day. It’s a lovely leather. Soft and supple, with lots of grain.
