Hudson I am jealous of that pouch but really don't want to drop cash on that type of thing right now. I am content keeping my stuff in a cigar box I have LOL
Ok I could not resist a visit to the only tobacconist in the tri-state area that I know of. THe smell of that place was awesome! I got two small bulk samples of what he said were his highest sellers. Super cheap BTW only 6 bucks total. I look forward to my last smoke of the week this weekend. The pipe I found at an antique shop for 5 bucks.![]()
I have always loved the smell of pipe tobacco and I have found, though I have only smoked two bowls, that the ritual of packing is relaxing.
I know what you mean. Also taking the time to tamp the tobacco or light the pipe in conversation can buy you time to think before speaking.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. I don't mind smoking on the porch. I have two little ones that I would not dream of endangering with second hand smoke.
Well, I don't mean to steer the conversation away from pipes but, I had an incredible Oliva Connecticut Reserve cigar earlier this evening. I've never been one to favor the mild stogies, but my goodness...what a great cigar!
They aren't that mild![]()
I have a Fuente this evening with some FeckIn whiskey.![]()
They are for me! I'm accustomed to corojos and double ligeros, so the Oliva Connecticut Reserve is certainly a change of pace.![]()
Monte double edmundo and Monte #2 short.

You need a Joya de Nicaragua Antano torpedo then. That thing is like all ligero.![]()
Excellent! I'll have have to look into it...thanks for the recommendation, friend. I'm kind of liking these mild/mediums at the moment though. Do you have any mild or mild-medium cigars that you'd recommend?
The double edmundo is mild. The #2 short is more like a slightly shorter belicoso than a short pirimides. #2 short is a sample from the owner of the shop. News is we get all-you-can-smoke cigar for free this or next Friday in any of his shops.:eusa_clapThe number one cigar of the year with the #2 there. They have always been good to me.![]()
