What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

[Gregg Axley]

King Dinosaur (1955), the Mystery Science Theater 3000 version.
Actually the dinosaurs are lizards with prosthetics.

Us too! Great night of flicks!

The cool thing I noticed in The Big Sleep was Eddie Mars' hat. Tall straight crown with a center dent and tight pinch. Very Indyesque.

Cheers!

The Rounders. Glenn Ford, Henry Fonda & Chill Wills could've had less horsey-double takes, but still a fun story. Whatever suits you, just tickles me to death.

The Conspirators, 1944

Good flick...

We've started a two week run of "The Master," with Joaquin Phoenix as a shell-shocked, alcoholic WW2 vet who falls under the influence of a charismatic L. Ron Hubbardesque cult leader played by Philip Seymour Hoffman. An interesting character study, with Phoenix coming across as a strange combination of young Marlon Brando and "Mumbles" from **** Tracy, and Hoffman looking for all the world like a psychopathic Captain Kangaroo.

Conan the Barbarian ,but I have to tell the truth ,I must have watched it a dozen times as I am a big fan of robert E. Howard , who started writing those stories in the 1930's and he wrote quite a few .

Watching Days of Wine and Roses. Such a great film.

A wonderful flick! Great memories of watching it as a child.

Hi All

I watched the Cable and Lombard story today.

James Brolin as Cable/ Jill Claybough. Two mediocre actors trying to play huge stars. Average movie.
However the cars and hats were stunning.
Best regards

Aeon Flux. Decent Sci-fi flick overall. The best part being Charlize Theron, who is always very easy on the eyes.

Breaking Dawn Part 2. Yes, I admit it. I have a 12-year-old daughter who loves the Twilight stuff (despite my best intentions). It's actually led to some very good conversations between us about relationships and the difference between a good relationship and a bad one.

Did you ever watch the animated shots it was based on? I bet you'd like her even more if she wore *that* outfit

Haven't seen the film, but wonder how well it compared to the creepy animated one.

Didn't care for the film, but the ... umm ... fashion certainly made a memorable impression.

The second film in the Foyles War series (first season).
The lead Germany's WWII-era leadership sympathizer had an extraordinary hat. Not sure what it was. Trying to get a screen capture for an ID.

Yes indeed I did. The animated thing was way-cool. I was slightly disappointed at the lack accuracy in the movie, but they had to make certain changes in order to make a film of it, so I forgive them for that.
