Drove up to see Mom and Dad today, our larger Family gathering is tomorrow. Wore the Camp Draft, and realized it's the first they've seen me in a decent hat. They loved it, reminiscing about the "old days" when most men wore hats. My Mother pulled out a photo from 1930, the first ever taken of her right after she was born, being held by the Grandfather I never met. He was wearing a very nice looking Homburg. Probably typical dress for him, he was a lawyer.
Can't yet get the hang of taking pics of myself. I'll work on it.

Tawny Fawn Campdraft today. For reasons unknown to me, it seems to be the warmest hat. Took this shot while petting the stray cats that come by .

Wow Alan, a 5x velour sounds very soft. The color of that Borsolino is unique. You don't see many that color. What is the color? Is it vintage or new? Anyway. Fantastic!
