Thanks Charlie. My Lord... These 21st century college kids are much more hardy than I was. When I was in school, I'd be lucky if I could cast off the Sunday post-debauchery fog and filfth by 1 PM. Just thinking about it gives me a residual shudder.

Sunday at 1:00 was usually about the time I quit debauching.

Then football would come on and somebody would crack a 12-pack...

Where are you? Not many out of towners gravitate to WSU.

Hey Fruno: i came to Morgantown, WV in 85 to finish my undergrad. I grew up in Indy and was 1/2 way through undergrad and wanted outta that cornfield after the Marines. Wanted the best program there was so Colorado School of Mines or Wright State for Hydrogeology were #1 and 2. Wife refused to go further west so WVU was near her folks and highly rated. Wella...30yrs later...hats,hats,hats and H2s. Ha. Your turn dude. Ha
Be well. Bowen
PS: prob shoulda gone to Wright State.

My turn? Well, aside from a few years in Cleveland finishing my degree at CWRU, I've been a denizen of Funkytown my whole life. I'm such a diehard Daytonian, I got my wife at Rike's department store.

This morning for services I'm wearing my newest (to me) but oldest fedora I own. This arrived last Thursday from Justin aka @splintercellsz. It's a 20s Stetson Feather Weight Tuxedo. This is the best felt I've ever felt.

That is a super hat Bill. I thought long and hard about this one. Glad it stayed in the family. Just incredible.

I worked a little more on the pencil roll of the 3X Stetson today. Just about got it how I want it.

Looks fantastic Scott!

That is a beauty Bill! Glad to see you ended up with it. You wear it well.

Borsalino Qualita Extra Superiore Lobbia in Bismuto, c1955 today for church. The Church Lady approved. She said I reminded her of how her father always wore "fine hats". She is in her 80s, I am humbled.

The Church Lady knows good hats when she sees them. I concur!

Those are marvelous. I could be knocked down with a feather(weight).

Alan... the colors are unbelievable.

Bill... That fabric sweat is unreal. I don't recall seeing one of those before on a hat so old.
