Finally hat to toss on a jacket this morning on the way to the farmer's market. Cool, felt morning, I'm a happy guy. To compare with Moon's spectacular Portis New Slant yesterday, I'm wearing a slightly newer version. We are probably at opposite ends of the 1950s on these two hats.

Is that a recent hat from Steve, Jeremy? I often wonder how he is doing, it has been five years or so since he made my Adventurebilt.

Yours looks great.

Cheers! David
This one is recent as he made it for me in March of this year. He seemed to be in high spirits and very friendly during my visits with him. He cut me a hell of a deal on the beaver so I ended up buying a CS rabbit in grey from him as well. I did it as a way of saying thanks and the taller boxy crown/wider brim on the CS was an added bonus :) Thank you very much for the kind words.

Very hard to describe
I believe Stetson called it "Rose"
Not sure where I heard that but pretty sure it's true.
It's not red... it's not purple... and it's not salmon... sort of a mixture of all that.
My wife calls colors like this "wine stain"

That's a dusty rose, or tinted pink, very fond of that color.
