Hey everybody!
Thanks for the likes on the de-porked Byron yesterday. I liked the results so much that I did it to my 60's Marathon porker. It was a little tougher to get the old bash out, but worth the effort. Now I won't be looking at it sitting dusty and lonely on a shelf, but rather on my head much more often.

The felt, rather stiff before my manipulations, softened considerably during the reshape. I was also pleased to find a bit more crown than I thought when I popped it out of the old bash.
Nice to have a "new" lid that was already in my collection!

WINTER has ARRIVED. I was able to convince Mrs. HRM to go outside for some R&R; both on Nordic skis, and on the toboggan! I was wearing a Black Sheep Hat Works in dark moss while shooshing, and a rabbit fur top to toboggan.
