So it your fault my civilization as I know and love it is drawing to a close! :rage: loljamespowers said:Order another size. They are only out of the Toro and Double Corona---two of which I, wisely, already ordered.
My wife says that our group here is what is causing them to run out and I should get a commission from the company.
A free box would work for me.

lol I would be scared the backyard would fall into the ocean! loljamespowers said:Uh, no. I like it out here without alligators in my backyard. Come out and enjoy the clousy weather.

I can get a couple cigars a piece!jamespowers said:I live in California not Hawaii.
$25 might not go too far there from the looks of it.

She had an Oliva Series G and I had for the first time a San Cristobal. The first half to an inch was kind of strong or maybe I should say bitter, then it mellowed out and took on an earthy toasty flavor and became quite good. Also picked up a Java for her and a Montecristo Patinum for me for tom.jamespowers said:Not any from that exotic little island for that price.
Then again, it depends what brand you go for. Try for an Ashton VSG. A Zino or two maybe.
I have thought about trying that one but haven't got round to it yet.feltfan said:Last night was a Oliveros El Padrino Edicion Italiana.
Very tasty. However, it burned down one side and
required a bit more attention than I prefer.
As I recall, you didn't like the CAO Italia. I suspect you won'tindycop said:I have thought about trying that one but haven't got round to it yet.
Last nights montecristo was the same way, which for me takes the enjoyment down a bit.
You are right, I don't do well with the Italia...feltfan said:As I recall, you didn't like the CAO Italia. I suspect you won't
like the El Padrino for similar reasons. But the Oliveros LTD is
milder. The El Padrino might have to be made available by
arrangement with OPEC- it's a pretty oily, strong smoke.
Definitely stronger than the Por Larranaga maduro. BTW, I am
hoping the burn problem was just that cigar. Will report if it happens again.
Did you try the Dos Capas yet?
feltfan said:Tried the Oliveros "XL For Men", a dubious name (although no
worse than "Max the Ego", JP), included in the sampler. It was
a fairly dull cigar. Taste bounced between cardboard and a nice
mild flavor. Far milder than the Oliveros LTD, if that helps.
Frankly, I got bored and put it out. Others might
find it a nicely balanced mild cigar. It did burn and draw nicely.
I'll be curious to try the other from the sampler to see if it was
partly my mood or that particular cigar.

lol The Ashton VSG was right above the San Cristobal, had I read that before I went I would have picked up also...:eusa_doh:
