In the hot tub last night was an economical J.R. Alternative to the excalibur 1066 churchill. Perfect for the times, temperature & of course the water.
I know this is neither cigar nor pipe tobacco, but it still falls in the tobacco realm. Last night I got to try a couple of new cigarettes that are new to our market. The Davidoff Perfect Blend ($20/pack - ouch), but very smooth and very flavorful. And the Dunhill Lights Fine Cut ($8/pack) but well worth it. So very smooth, not harsh at all.
I had a quick, Cuba Aliados Anniversary Short on Saturday. Hope to get something in, tonight. I'm going to try a Don Ramon maduro. This is a brand new brand from New Jersey wholesaler H. J. Bailey.
That Don Ramon in Maduro was actually pretty good. It's a big'n, now, 5x60 or thereabouts. It's a jawbreaker. Lots of smoke, and an ash that held on like a rock.
