Long story short (though it's a good story) I ended up looking at jackets at Goodwill, I wasn't looking for this one but it just stood out due to the texture and how new it looked. Unfortunately, it was mislabeled and only a medium, not a large but I liked it so much I looked it up to try and find one in my size. Well the AI's tell me its from Smiths of California from the 50-60s and it pretty rare in this color and style.
Well, I know zero about fashion other than I know quality when I see and feel it. Internet searches turn up very little due to the pre internet era and a lot of conflicting key works as the Smiths band and there was a line of clothing at Sears.
Hoping for so thoughts on if this is a rare find and the possible value. Like I said, my ultimate goal is to get this or something similar in my size (44-46) and if it is something special, get it to someone who appreciates it. I love the shortness and that it's a little bigger cut on the top. Thanks in advance!
