We don't see goatskin very often, but it's an excellent choice if you want a lightweight and super tough leather! Russet Goatskin Aero Teamster with a custom Lochcarron tartan lining. Yes, that's a tartan...look very closely to see the pattern!

Cordovan appears to vary quite a lot in shade and tone,probably more than other hide colors...I prefer the darker color.Was wondering how customers specify what they want in this respect as hide samples don't really reflect the hide that your jacket will be made of.I am planning to order 50's half belt deluxe in dark cordovan.

You can request a darker hide and we'll will do our best to accommodate your request. The Cordovan and Brown colors tend to look darker in the swatches because the acts of cutting, folding and sewing the CXL leather to make a jacket have the effect of brightening the color a bit! You'll also find the color will be lighter after many years of wear...this is normal for the CXL leather and helps give it a unique patina.
