I paid $31.00 for this one. I found two more on the internet from a reseller. They are listed at $50.00 each.

lol Grass is always greener I think, just recently I've been wishing my head was bigger AND smaller at the same time, not many 7 1/4 hats around. Mind you, wallet also needs to be bigger (and fuller!).

Just noticed that the pics above make the Strat look grey, actually the colour is closer to that of the middle pic, it's the typical tan/beige of most Open Road hats.

At 7 1/4, I could go after 7 1/8 & 7 3/8, especially vintage. Seems like a sweet spot to me...[huh]

I need to get around to photographing and posting my Strats here so I can be an Official Member of the Society. Maybe I'll do so after the one I just won gets here. That makes a total of four, if I recall correctly. I recently bought one that was advertised as a 7 1/2, but the sweat had padding behind it and it's shrunk a bit. I'm not sure if I'll wear it as is or do a gentle stretch back out to 7 1/2 and put it up on the Bay.

I got around to applying for membership here!

I'll start with my newest Stratoliner acquisition, the blue-grey liner-less one. It is in need of cleaning. If Scouts doesn't do the trick it'll go out for professional cleaning.
