Jimmie Rodgers and Will Rogers, ~1931.
Obviously, I don't either. She's a wonderful person, but she has a "thing" about getting old. I'm in my mid-50s; I think I'm supposed to have some gray hair by now.I don't think Clooney or Gere would agree with her.
Interesting name. Nice hat & coat. Know anything more about him?Climax Jim, ~1903.
that is the epitome of a "bash"Climax Jim, ~1903.
Interesting article, Fruno. I do remember seeing Climax chaw tobacco before.
Great pic.The barkeep is wearing what looks like a baseball cap from the 1890-1900 era so that kind of sets the timeframe of the other tall crown cowboy hats. Tall crowns were popular in the summer heat too.
I think the term "ladies" might require the use of quotation marks in this context.Tombstone, AZ but I forget what yr. The guy in the right rear along the wall could almost be mistaken for a young Wyatt Earp. A couple of ladies in the middle of the crowd can be picked out by their hats.
1920's AL. Children picking cotton.
The hat on the right has character. The one on the left? Wow!
