An absolutely stunning jacket from Field Leathers in GREEN BADALASSI! I had this in my cart and was anxious to press buy, when I got the measurements from the seller and realized it's an inch too short and I won't be able to zip it. I hope it fits somebody here though.

I stumbled upon this green cafe racer in a random leather shop in Nashville, IN last spring, while on vacation. It shone like an emerald in a sea of black leather. It was, in fact, the only non-black jacket in the store. It was also on clearance, as it had apparently long-awaited a soul brave enough to embrace its whimsical hue.

It's made by First MFG, whom I hadn't heard of prior to this discovery. While the leather is a bit thinner than my usual preference and it doesn't have that $1,500 handmade veg-tanned artifact feel to it, the color is fantastic and it's buttery soft. I am particularly impressed by the large panels of leather, especially for the $150 price tag. YKK zips are solid and reliable. It's a functional riding jacket with zippered vents, a removable quilted lining and armor pockets. The fit is a bit roomy around the bottom hem, but for the price, it was a great find.

This leather looks almost identical to my four speed leather jacket. Wonder if it’s the same leather. IMG_0494.jpeg
