Crinkled Sheepskin Jackets Similar to Visvim?

Hi everyone,

I'm really into the crinkled/grainy texture of some of the sheepskin items Visvim has recently been putting out like the Eton jacket, but I can't justify the crazy markup for their jackets. I feel like it shouldn't be that hard to find similar sheepskin textures in other jackets as I would think it doesn't require any particular distressing and is just the way the leather has been tanned, but I have yet to find anything somehow.

Does anyone know of any particular jackets or leathers that may be similar? I looked at Thedi for example but didn't find any of their jackets that had a similar texture with the sheepskin, and most sheepskin jackets such as bombers have a completely different glossy smooth texture.

Appreciate any leads!

Hi everyone! Compared to other crash options the astronaut game has a much better visual style and the sound design is top notch. The bonus rounds also seem to trigger more often during peak hours which makes it more exciting for Indian players. I had a really lucky streak today and managed to triple my small deposit in just thirty minutes of play. Have a wonderful day and hope your timing is always perfect
If you're looking for that specific Visvim "crinkled" sheepskin look, you should check out Bill Kelso or Simmons Bilt.

The texture you're after is often called "Veg-Tanned Goat" or "Shrunken Grain Sheepskin." Most mass-market bombers use chrome-tanned skins which are ironed flat and glossy, whereas the Thedi you looked at is likely their heavier cowhide or horsehide which has a different drape.

A few specific leads:

Bill Kelso (Liberty Roughout/Goat): They do a lot of "grainy" skins that have that exact organic, dry texture.

Real McCoy’s: Look at their specialized sheepskin B-6 or D-1 flight jackets. They aren't cheap, but the grain is much closer to Visvim than a standard Schott or Aero.

Used RRL: Ralph Lauren’s high-end line often uses distressed sheepskin that mimics that vintage, crinkled look for a fraction of the Visvim price on the secondary market.

Basically, search for "Shrunken Grain" leathers—that’s where you’ll find that non-glossy, textured character. Which specific Visvim colorway were you trying to match?
