Hi Marc - it is based on the newer pattern with the rotated sleeves - agree about the zip - the number 5s are too damn fiddly for my liking! This is an 8 not 10 though if I recall correctly….

I placed mine Feb. 1st... So I guess mine is due soon.

I wonder if it is because of leather choice... Which leather you're going for?

Looks great! I was tempted to order a bone jacket when Greg offered that but I have to save up for some traveling. Great to see the finished product with this color.

Is this one based on the new or the old pattern?

Curious if you guys know when the "new" pattern went into effect? Is it just a difference of sleeve rotation? I asked for a slight rotation on my sleeves for my order last year but wondering if there are other differences with the new pattern?

Yes, February of this year. I ended up going with the cognac Badalassi.

Funny I placed my order around june/July 2022 and I still didn’t get my jacket. I did get a mock up that didn’t fit at all so we had to change some things, but it’s still a long time to wait!

You should have taken a Shearling. You would have had one by now ;-)
No, kidding. But it's very annoying.
In the end, it was exactly this long waiting time that kept me from ordering a FL again. I'm too impatient and not very forgiving when I notice that other things come first instead of keeping to the order (unless there is a really good and comprehensible justification for it.).

I don’t mind waiting, but it was very frustrating to get a super ill fitting mock up. I really like Greg, he is a nice guy but I think he is working too hard and it can’t be healthy for him.

My mock up was also WAY off from the measurements I gave him. Way too short and way too much room in the body.

He did nail the final product although it’s not my best fitting jacket. Still a little too much room in the body. Seems like he errs on side of caution when it comes to fit (at least on mine)

I still love it to death and I would gladly wait a year or more for another jacket from him.
