VN Stands for vintage, it goes through an ageing process in which the jackets shrink so they fit very tight (caution). The 626 is a standard fit. I have both, I bought this 626 thinking it was a VN so I sized up (would normally wear a medium), it’s huge on me, so I bought a 626vn in medium and it’s very very tight.
Other than that pretty much identical jackets, unless you are very slim I wouldn’t recommend a VN
