I’ve got the original 50’s Hercules version en route! Lately I’m doing far better fit wise with vintage. I’ve come to learn I overthought all my custom jackets.

Incredible jacket, fit is perfect
I’ve never wanted a highwayman. And black cxl is great but we’ve seen it 1,000 times. But here I am home from work and looking at your photos again. Just goes to show when you get a nice batch of hide and nail the fit, it makes “old” things we’ve seen 1,000 times before look different in a whole new light. So once again awesome purchase.

Yeah, exactly that. I've also decided years ago I'm done with that style and jacket, yet photos like this make me wonder... It's such a nice, unpretentious yet cool enough to still be a statement piece.

Some years ago, when I was out with my girl, it musta been Saturday night and we were at this place that was packed. There was this group of young, loud guys too and one of them wore a black Highwayman and man, I can tell you, that jacket stood out. Maybe only to me 'cause I recognized it or perhaps it was because he got the fit right and that awesome CXL and all, but the jacket was there, better than any red cross zip with Swarovsky or whatever ever would.

I was thinking the same before getting this one. But after watching some photos and thinking over it is the simplicity that is the beauty in this style of a jacket, and the easiness to wearing it compared to crosszip or a fullon leather trenchcoat.
