My Specs:
However, I ran into a bit of a dilemma during the purchasing process. Last month, I tried on a size 42 at the RMC Osaka store. That specific jacket felt particularly stiff—perhaps it was brand new or just a tougher hide—and the fit felt quite tight, with the length being just a bit short. An experienced older staff member recommended I size up, so I ultimately purchased the size 44.
After getting home, I started to have second thoughts, feeling that the shoulder width was a bit too wide for my frame. However, These Japanese reproduction brands have a strict no-return, no-exchange policy. Interestingly, I recently tried on another size 42 at the RMC Tokyo store, and it felt much better—not nearly as restrictive as the one in Osaka.
My only regret was that the first shop I visited only had a size 42 in stock, so I couldn't do a side-by-side comparison with a 44 immediately. I only managed to try on the size 44 later at a different location.
Photos for Reference: I have included photos of the size 42 and 44 from both brands below.

Note: In the rear-view photo, I am intentionally pulling the jacket down to show the maximum length. In normal wear, the wool knits would naturally sit higher on the waist.

The Real McCoy’s (RMC)
The most stunning aspect of RMC is their leather selection—it is incredibly consistent and beautiful. The collar shape is also a standout; it’s very sharp and holds its form perfectly. However, I ran into a bit of a dilemma during the purchasing process. Rainbow Country (RC)
RC definitely offers the most "modern" silhouette. Since their jackets come with a slight pre-distressed/softened finish, the leather felt significantly more supple and comfortable right off the rack. While the leather consistency doesn't quite match RMC’s level, their official measurements seem to align better with my body type.My only regret was that the first shop I visited only had a size 42 in stock, so I couldn't do a side-by-side comparison with a 44 immediately.
