Soon as I heard my favorite hat maker Adventurbilt won the contract for Indy 4 I ordered my second last Dec. 2006.
When I get it, by the end of the year I was recently told, I will have waited a year. And worth every bit of waiting.
I lived in Denver for three years, and if there's a hat shop in the area then I'm not aware of it.
I agree with your sentiment that hats are to be worn. There's a quote I like, not about hats, but living in general: Life is too short not to use the good china every day.
See, this is why we all love the FL, someone went out and made a hat from the movie just for the fans! Gotta love the lounge for finding the exact link...
David Morgan offers this hat as well which is as close as you're likely to get domestically:

I think it almost perfect. Hmnnn...maybe I should pick one up next time I go on safari....
Good Lord young man! Get thee to Blockbuster now!
Seriously, if you're a fan of the 1930's and 40's for whatever reason and you post regularly on the Fedora Lounge then I'm betting you'll like and maybe love the movies.
Indy/Harrison Ford is a man's man. Men want to be like him and women...
I asked this over on COW, but on second thought maybe you guys might be more knowledgable.
I have a Raider's AB with the typical tight pinch. This model does not have a taper in the crown and to my eye does not. But the combination of tight pinch and high crown I'm concerned it makes my head...
My girlfriend bought me a hat can last year and I can attest to their value. We fly frequently and it IS a pain carrying it, but nothing compared to the pain of possibly ruining a treasured hat.
No cause for gloating Lizzie....
Seriously, Dang! Why can't I ever be one of the cool kids with the "in" crowd? The director? Holy Moly! Have you read the book? What did you think?
Anyone seen this flick?

An outlaw caper set in Vermont 1932 during the Great Depression...
I bought one a while back, and for the price it's......okay. Not great quality leather, more like the dreaded pleather IMHO.
This one looks different though so the quality might have gone up. Customer service is very good.
Hope this helps.
Chinos, or khakis, are casual wear, to be worn on weekends or while doing yardwork. Don't even get me started on "business casual" Capitoline permanent-press Dorkers and their ilk....
So my vote would be no, no creases for chinos. Strikes me as akin to creasing blue jeans *shudder*
I agree, the segundo to Crowe was excellent. He's been in several films playing the bad guy, most recently with Bruce Willis in Hostage, but in that one I thought he overacted a bit...
Well, not exactly a flop at over $14 million in total box office for the weekend, came in #1 I believe.... Good thing too, 'cause I love a good western and enjoyed this one even though one could nitpick to death.
I'm looking forward to the Jesse James flick comming out the end of the month...
I dunno if it's becomming a prop or an artifact. When a rock and roller does wear a suit (think David Bowie, Bryan Ferry, et al) it can look great and appropriate.
Yeah, he wears that suit pretty badly, or rather it wears him badly.
At least we should give him credit for wearing a suit though. While doing cardio at the gym recently I had no choice but to watch his most recent music video. I didn't catch the name of the song, but the vulgar swine was...
