    Indy pants

So I received my pants back from the tailor today. I had him let out the inseams as much as possible. Old cuff dimension was 8.5" across, and the new being just over 9", maybe 9.25". To my eye (and feel) the extra half inch in width makes a noticable difference. Comments?

    Indy pants

I took the trousers into my tailor, but he's not very optimistic. Wested doesn't leave much extra material in the seams, so my tailor thinks at the most I'll get an extra half inch at the cuff. Hrmpf.

DanielJones "From what I understand, Wested was supposed to have come out with a new model of these trousers" I emailed Wested and was informed the trousers I have is the one and only version.

    Indy V

I agree. ROLA was excellent, and Last Crusade was a close second. CS just seemed a way to make everyone a quick buck.

I agree. Indy IV just sucked. What's next, Indiana Jones Goes to Mars?

    Shutter Island (2009)

Dang, you beat me to it. I just read about the film and was going to post about it. The synopsis: Leonardo DiCaprio’s new film is for anyone (and by anyone, I mean everyone) who enjoyed “The Departed.” The actor is teaming up again with Martin Scorsese for the new thriller “Shutter...

    Gran Torino- Clint Eastwood

Bought the DVD the first day it came out. Certainly one of the best Clint Eastwood films I've ever seen.

    Evolution of the T-Shirt

Does anyone know about the evolution of the T-shirt? Whence did it come? Am I correct in assuming it went from the wife beater, to the crew neck, to the v neck? For the period from, say the 1920-1939, what was generally worn? Thanks!

What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

The Hangover. Laugh out loud funny in spots. Very much a "guy" movie with lots of scatalogical humor. The ladies might not find it very funny, but if you're a guy you should see it with some buddies.

    Terminator: Salvation

Saw it yesterday and really liked it. Special effects were seamless, and the story was very good. Not quite up to James Cameron standards, but very good and worth the price of admission.

    Terminator: Salvation

Yeah, I'm with you, can't wait to see it. From what I've read and seen so far, the director and crew really tried to be respectful to the franchise. I'll be in line opening day.

    Khakis, Leather Jacket and Hat

Good point. Do ANYTHING out of the ordinary, and you WILL get comments. Comes with the territory. People are pack animals for the most part, and doing or wearing anything different will be noticed and seen instinctually as a threat. I work at a local university and I routinely see young women...

Any Wrangler Jean Experts Out There??

I work for the western industry from time to time, and personally know all the folks at Wrangler (dontcha just love the people you meet on the Lounge? LOL;-) There is NO difference in fit or material with the rigid and prewashed. They ARE the same so they will fit the same. Wrangler has just...

    When did belts replace braces?

I prefer braces myself, they're very comfortable and I'm not forever readjusting/pulling up my pants as one must do with a belt.
