Video games based in the golden era

Not the Golden Era, but it is set in WWI. Verdun is a very fun game, and it is actually the very first WWI shooter. I highly recommend it.

What's something modern you won't miss when it becomes obsolete?

Except that there is one thing I should point out. I am in the target age group, and I despise current music. That's because it isn't music. It's sonic garbage.

You mean Bruce Wayne's world. ;)

    Hair cuts

I am planning to get a haircut soon, but I don't think my hair cutter is cutting my hair in the best possible way for my style. Does anyone know of an image to show her which describes these styles the best? I always tend to part my hair on the left, but I don't know if that matters or not. If...

    Show us your SHOES !!!

I could be wrong, and probably am, but in the upper picture, the shoes seem to have a slight spade sole. They don't make spade soles anymore to my knowledge.

Why does E-bay need so many cookies?

I could be wrong, but I believe most of those cookies are tracking cookies. Tracking cookies track your browsing, and they sell it to companies. There is a way to get rid of ads if you use Firefox. It's an add on called Adblock Plus. I highly recommend it to anyone using Firefox.

    Hair cuts

Here I am using Royal Crown Hairdressing and Brylcreem. It is an awful picture, however, and looks a lot better in real life, as my webcam is horrible. In case you were wondering, I am listening to my Glenn Miller and Lawrence Welk playlist. How do you get hair product on the back of your...

    Spectator Shoes

I found these shoes on Amazon. Have you ever heard of the shoe company One Huge Step? Are they any good?

What was the last TV show you watched?

I didn't watch it, but I saw part of a commercial for a show called Manhattan. From the looks of it, it seems it's set in the 30's or 40's and is about the Manhattan Project. I don't know when it's on, or what station, but it looked interesting.

Today I went to Stop and Shop, and to my surprise, they carry Royal Crown Hairdressing. Tomorrow I shall post a picture.

What's something modern you won't miss when it becomes obsolete?

After going to Cape Cod again (I have some relatives up there, who let us visit in the summer), and hearing the awful 21st century music blasted out of cars, and played in stores. I cannot wait for synthesizer based music to disappear. Or maybe they should just play some actual music with those...

The general decline in standards today

I was in town today, and I saw some women wearing shirts that were really short, pared with low rise pants. Their outfits made them look quite like prostitutes. Whats next? Omnipresent nudists?

    Hair cuts

I still cannot find Royal Crown anywhere. Would a local pharmacy be more likely to carry it? Or should I just order it online?' I have a made curious discovery. Murray's doesn't seem to like Brylcreem, as it seems to come out when I apply Brylcreem.

What's something modern you won't miss when it becomes obsolete?

The disappearance of the phone booth. There is no way to call services outside of your home anymore, unless you use a cell phone. This makes no sense, since not everyone has a cell phone, and some people, including myself, despise cell phones and refuse to use them. What if you break down, or...

    Hollywood Jackets

I was wondering, were there ever jackets like this? This is a Photoshopped Paul Fredrick jacket, and no such jacket exists to my knowledge. It seems all Hollywood Jackets are single-breasted.

What's something modern you won't miss when it becomes obsolete?

I am afraid that your research may be flawed. Of all the forums I have visited, this one has the nicest people I have known on the internet. Loungers are much more polite than the people on other forums I have visited, and don't have a tendency to swear in every post they make. They aren't rude...
