Movies That Kill Off the Main Character

Didn't read through the whole thread, but I've noticed Denzel Washington seems to die by the end of his films: Training Day, Book of Eli, Man on Fire, Safe House, etc etc. I almost expect it now with his movies.

I just bought the season 2 dvd at Costco today, and I agree, it's going to be a long haul until season 3. This is one of the best shows on TV right now.

    "Sherlock" BBC series.

Here is an interview with Steven Moffat where he explains the three episode format: "[The format has] worked for us," agreed Moffat, in an interview with The Huffington Post. "That will always be the case. "It will probably extend the life of the show, because everybody gets to do other...

    "Sherlock" BBC series.

Benedict Cumberbatch has said that he approaches the character of Holmes as a man with Asperger's Syndrome, or someone who is sociopathic. Mark Gatiss (the creator of the show) says that both Holmes and Mycroft see relationships as a weakness: "I wish I was half as clever, but I'm glad I'm not...

I don't think so. I think he's just what the Brits would call a "prig", someone who is irritatingly smug and a bit of a dandy.

    Hatfields & McCoys

Yes, as far as I know, and from the description on the History Channel website, it's being described as a full-length mini-series/drama.

    Hatfields & McCoys

Caught the preview for that one, unfortunately it has "straight to DVD" written all over it. The History Channel version looks much better.

    Hat etiquette at casino?

There is no etiquette in casinos, for hats or much else for that matter. I work seasonally in a casino during the summer as a 21 dealer, and the only policy we have is that dealers aren't allowed to wear them during Rodeo Week because the brim blocks the security camer from seeing what your...

    Western, anyone?

Aren't all wind strings detachable? I just thread mine through the brim holes on windy days, then pull the string off when the wind dies down.

    Sport Coat Vs. Suit Coat

I'm more of a Wranglers and roper boots (low cut heel) kind of guy, and lately this look has been growing on me even more.

    Sport Coat Vs. Suit Coat
