I am putting this coat up for sale here for a few days to see if there is any interest before moving it on to the Bay next week. It is broken in and very comfortable with a thick alpaca lining and storm cuffs. The black leather has some good patina with deep brown undertones coming through. Nice...
Yep it was 16 degrees Wednesday morning little bit of a chill factor keeping me from riding but looking for some sunshine on Saturday and a bit of riding through some twisties even if it is on the Trike.
Got to say I am not sure who's aged the most, me or the jacket, but I am sure liking my LW along with all the others I own or may own in the future. Lost Worlds jackets not aging quickly is a good thing as far as I am concerned. It means I can keep wearing them in the rain while riding down the...
It is worthy to see an apology in a world where admitting one is wrong is considered a weakness that a strong man can see his error and admit it. Well done.
Correct Burt Munro, next to his Indian which still holds a land speed record in it's class. Anthony Hopkins played Mr. Munro in "The Worlds' Fastest Indian".
Great looking fit Carlos. It looks like it will break in nicely. I have been dealing with Stuart for 15 years and have always had good results. I have lost count as to the number of LW Jackets I have owned and all have been spot on! Stuart has always been willing to work with me either in the...
Y'all might want to let the shops know when you are coming. I think you would get a real welcome especially if you mention that you are part of an unofficial FL Meetup. We had a meetup in Monteagle, TN with the Hat crowd a number of years back and actually got a tour of a hat manufacturer in...
Ok here is the original thread from Dan_T with photos etc. I think he is a Size 42. For me the fit was perfect around the shoulders and pit to pit as a 44 but it is not a good fit in the mid section and too tight unless I loose about 15 lbs. There is a lot of discussion and fit pics so peruse...
To answer both questions I would say a size 42 would be pretty close as the sheepskin does reduce the chest size. As to needing a sweatshirt with this jacket, probably not it's warm with the quilted lining in the sleeves and the sheepskin.
I received this a few weeks ago and it's just a tad too small. This jacket is gorgeous! The horsehide is probably 3.5 oz and very comfortable. The measurements reflect the sheepskin lining.
The sizing for this '44' is (approximately);
P2P; 23.5" - 24" (stretched)
Sleeve; 25.5"
Back; 25.5"...
