I recently joined an Indiana Jones fanatic forum and the wealth of knowledge for all things Indy is vast. Apparently Tony Nowak is /was a producer of some serious repro Indy Jackets and he built the one Shia is wearing in CS. His jackets are still highly sought after in that world.
It’s good to have the return option . I had the model 141 in naked cowhide (which is the same pattern as the 641) that was spectacular but I lost a bunch of weight and it was too big. Post pics when you get it. Schott 141 pictured
I am in no way an expert but I know enough to be dangerous. I have owned probably 10-12 Schott jackets anywhere from the 1980’s to my newest one which was made in 2018. I can say with some certainty that of those I have never seen the felt backing. I just don’t remember what I heard about that...
I have heard/read that certain Schott jackets had the felt but I cannot speak on that as I have never seen or encountered one. Have you tried a Google search or searches on this site?

I have listed for sale items in the Classified section before without registering as a vendor and I believe that is common. Also, under the “finds and deals “ section, eBay auctions are allowed to be linked. That’s the extent of what I can offer.

not sure where you bought it but I buy and sell a fair amount of jackets on eBay and a few times I received jackets that were moldy. I reach out to the seller and state the issue and I tell I will return it or I can keep it and deal with cleaning it but refund some money. The times i did that...
Based on what I have learned about Schott jackets and how to determine age, that tag style was used prior to 1993. Attached is an example of the tag used in post 93 jackets. That would explain the jacket being shorter.
