I see so many in 36-40 and believe me it’s almost impossible to see one in my big ass size. Looking forward to trying this one and see if it gives my beloved Schott 118 a run.

After reading the post with that individual trying his best to convince us that center seams are not good, I am actively looking for center seam jackets moving forward.
Feeling a bit disconnected these days, the dog days of summer in Florida. Want to wear my 118 but not possible til fall, so here is an old photo to remind me.
The Cooper looks good on you, the A-2 style and fit can be challenging. I went through 4-5 of them including Avirex, Cooper, Vanson , Cockpit USA , Schott 174 to land on this Schott 184. It may not be the perfect fit for the purist but I find it comfortable and easy to wear and side entry...
I picked up an Avirex A-2 last year and it was a good quality jacket. It was made from their hand burnished sheep but I was looking for a cow hide So I moved it along.
I get your point and I have seen that Marauder jacket for quite some time on the Bay. In this case, I am of the opinion that this particular jacket represents probably an owners group for a Suzuki Marauder motorcycle.
I have been low key looking for the exact jacket for awhile. Since I rarely buy new, the used market for a size 52 has never appeared to me as of yet. Beautiful leather on yours, love the aging.
My jacket collection ebbs and flows but I always come back to the Schott 118. just comfortable and easy to wear. I sold my other cross zips and this one remains.
