Peacoat, the real Langlitz goodness is here:

Also check out the products. The catalogue - if it's anything like the one I've got - barely skims the surface. I talked to them a couple of years ago and they'll do anything on the Japanese site, as...
Italia. I think - not positive - that this is pure wool. It's really soft and incredibly comfortable.
Ijsboerke. This is 90% wool, 10% acrylic.
Lucky Sprinters: no label, but this feels like the Ijsboerke - I think this has a high wool content.
Photos coming up.
I should have mentioned size: the curse of vintage jerseys is that they always seem to be sized extremely small, whereas these are all in Weekend Warrior-friendly large sizes. I'm a broad-shouldered 42 and they fit me fine, particularly if I've actually been out on my bike a...
Any interest in three old cycling jerseys in great worn condition? Two Belgians (Ijsbroeke and "Lucky Sprinters") and an Italian national team jersey from late 70s early 80s.
Belgians £25 inc. postage in the UK, Italian £45 inc postage as before. Photos to come.
Actually I think that most of the younger people I know don't resent things like the Lexus because they want one. It's more that they reject the values that lead to people driving Lexuses (Lexi?) because they think people should admire their ability to buy one.
Perhaps I've been lucky, but I...
I got sniped on a Hardy Amies Harris Tweed the other day, which was basically a British Army officer's tunic in Harris...
It never occurred to me that anyone else would be interested... damn those snipers.
Glad it arrived at last, CP! And glad you like it. Wear it in good health!
My own quest is ongoing. Yesterday in a local antique shop I thought I spied a rather manky but almost certainly Ventile jacket in a dog cage. I'd hunkered down to get a better look when from beneath the suspected...
Just out of interest, that isn't Ceemo tweed, is it? From the pics it looks to have something a bit extra going on in the cloth - but I think Ceemo was made in the 60s, so probably not.
Still not on Ebay... I needed some better pics, and a foggy day combined with my natural lethargy means I've yet to put them on that well-known auction site. Meanwhile....
Lewis boots down to £90
Gold Tops down to £40
Thanks, Dave. That's a good solution, especially as it's reversible...
Meanwhile, my current favourite original A-2 is this one:
The W535-AC-23383 shown on Acmedepot: http://www.acmedepot.com/a2jacket/a2detail2.html. I particularly like the small pockets.
R Williams Gardener boots, and recently Red Wing Chelsea Boots (very similar quality) are my all-time favourite pavement bashers. They look good with virtually everything and pavements don't wear the soles out in two seconds.
