Edward, have you checked the various Hornets shops on and around Kensington Church Street? They had a few nice (not mod) blazers last time I looked. Also worth checking the vintage shops on Portobello, the stretch just beyond the Westway. -

Kitchen towel, iron? Place kitchen towel over wax, place hot iron on kitchen towel. Wax melts and towel wicks it away. Always works for me.- pipvh

Hmmm. A fair amount to chew over here, gents! The look that Jansolo is sporting is exactly what I'm after (I found that thread a few days ago). Hey, thanks, chaps! The problem - and it's ridiculous, I know - is that I like the knit waist. I like the contrast and I really like the red of the Dubow and other contracts - the way it contrasts with the seal leather. I just don't like it to be... functional.
