How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

My arms aren’t suffering except a little at the pits, and the jacket is becoming more roomy there. It is unlined and feels great against my skin when I do shortsleeves.

Thanks, if there wasn’t a taper before there certainly is now! Also, are you talking about a rash on my skin or the horsehide?

Baggy elbows - is this a common occurrence when breaking in a new jacket? Might have something to do with me moving the wrist buttons almost 2 inches (!) further in.

I’d say the “Style” in the title gives it a pass, too bad there’s apparently no tags.

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

The Sheeley showed today, so just under a year after putting my order in. It’s a campus style jacket, quite similar to what Mr Freedom puts out but based on a Monarch pattern (of course!). I requested unlined, because that’s what I like. Quite pleased with the fit, although a little snug in the...

Since no one mentioned handsome or debonair, I’ll throw the Tilley Hat into the ring.

Ha, watch where you go for thrifty deals - I’m in the middle of the country (the ACTUAL middle) and there’s piss all around here. You want to look in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal. It was 31° C here today, the cold capital of canader…

My cousin bought some Oxblood DMs about 35 years ago for his wedding that he wished looked like that pair up top, such beauties!

I like mine, less waste is one reason to use ‘em. Never take it anywhere though, don’t quite trust the mechanism to not spring a leak in transport.

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I think the quality is still there in the main line. My problem with CG has historically been that because they’re so stiff they tend to pump cold air in either through the neck area or underneath, they just don’t drape very well - I also owned one that was too big for me, which exacerbated the...

Footwear to go with our jackets

My Whites, while fitting the shape of my foot very well, were brutal to walk in with the weight of the boot and the firmness of the sole combining to make them unwearable for me. I sold them on after a few months. YRMV
